The political consultancy firm I-PAC has expressed "serious concerns" and called the recent Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids on its Kolkata office and director's residence an "unsettling precedent." The ED conducted searches as part of a money laundering probe. I-PAC stated it has extended full cooperation with the agency and remains committed to continuing its work. The raids have led to protests from the ruling Trinamool Congress, with allegations of political motivation, while the ED has reportedly approached the Calcutta High Court over alleged state government interference.
