
India has expressed concern over recurring attacks on minorities in Bangladesh, citing a disturbing pattern of violence against their homes and businesses by extremists. New Delhi criticized Bangladesh's tendency to attribute such incidents to personal or political differences, stating this emboldens perpetrators and creates fear. The Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council reported 51 communal violence cases in December 2025, including 10 murders. India emphasized these incidents are not mere exaggerations and highlighted over 2,900 documented cases of violence against minorities.
