The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a petition in the Supreme Court alleging that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and state police officials obstructed its search operations at the I-PAC office and a director's residence in Kolkata. The ED claims its officers were threatened, and evidence, including documents and electronic devices, was forcibly taken. The agency seeks a CBI probe into the incident, accusing Banerjee of a pattern of interfering with investigations. The West Bengal government has filed a caveat, requesting a hearing before any court order is issued.
