Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's conduct during recent Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids linked to the political consultancy firm I-PAC in Kolkata. Sarma stated that Banerjee's actions, including entering raid sites and allegedly removing documents, were concerning and could erode public respect. The ED conducted searches as part of a probe into an alleged coal pilferage scam, while Banerjee alleged the agency sought sensitive TMC data ahead of upcoming assembly polls.
