Indian security forces detected multiple suspected Pakistani drones along the Line of Control (LoC) and International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba, Rajouri, and Poonch districts on Sunday evening. The drones reportedly entered Indian airspace from Pakistan, hovered briefly, and then returned. In response, the Indian Army opened fire in the Nowshera sector and launched extensive ground search operations across affected areas to check for dropped arms or contraband. This activity follows a recent recovery of an arms consignment allegedly dropped by a Pakistan-origin drone.
