Ahead of Maharashtra civic polls, factions of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) led by Ajit Pawar and Sharad Pawar have joined forces for elections in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad. Ajit Pawar stated that family tensions are resolved and party workers desire unity. Leaders Supriya Sule and Ajit Pawar shared a stage to release a joint manifesto focusing on civic issues like water supply, traffic, healthcare, and public transport. While allied for local polls, their state-level alliances remain distinct.
