Two army porters, Layaqat Ahmad Deedard and Ishfaq Ahmad Khatana, died after slipping into a gorge near Anita Post in Gulmarg sector on Thursday. Their bodies were recovered Friday after a search operation. Separately, an army jawan, Subedar Hira Lal, died after slipping during patrolling in the Fatahgarh Sheeri area of Baramulla. Both incidents occurred in Jammu and Kashmir.
