The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported the demolition of a two-kilometer Hamas tunnel in northern Gaza, near Beit Lahiya. The IDF described it as an offensive tunnel, located within the Israeli side of the Yellow Line. This action follows the October 7, 2023, attack where Hamas killed approximately 1,200 people and took 252 Israelis and foreigners captive. The body of one Israeli officer remains in Gaza.
