
The Delhi government has revised its 2025-26 budget, increasing capital expenditure for infrastructure projects by over Rs 2,000 crore to Rs 30,248 crore. Significant boosts are allocated to transport, including a near doubling of funding for the Delhi Metro, and education. While overall scheme spending slightly decreased, priority sectors like urban development and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi also received enhanced support.
