Bhopal Municipal Corporation Commissioner Sanskriti Jain has issued show-cause notices to nine engineers for alleged negligence in monitoring construction work, tender agreement lapses, and delays in tax recoveries. Engineers are accused of uploading contractor-provided photos instead of conducting GPS-enabled site visits. The issue surfaced during monitoring of road and drain construction in Govindpura and the old city areas. The engineers have three days to respond or face action.
