Salem District Collector R. Brindha Devi inspected special camps held at polling booths for electoral roll revisions. A total of 46,444 applications were received across the district for adding, deleting, or changing names on the draft electoral roll. Special camps were conducted on December 27-28, with further camps scheduled for January 4, 2026, to facilitate public participation in updating voter lists.
