
Minister K.N. Nehru inaugurated the new Srirangam bus terminus and other civic projects costing ₹15.68 crore. Built on 1.08 acres for ₹11.10 crore, the terminus includes bus bays, commercial shops, and a first-floor auditorium. Two new bus services were also launched from the terminus. Additionally, a roadside park developed at a cost of ₹1.58 crore was inaugurated. Traffic flow improvements on Gandhi Road were also noted.
