Justice Neena Bansal Krishna highlighted that adjournments are often sought without considering the time of opposing counsel or the court. The court expressed hope that this practice would change, while waiving a Rs 20,000 cost imposed on a petitioner whose advocate cited professional commitments and personal difficulties for non-appearance.
