Following deaths from contaminated water in Indore, Delhi Water Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh has directed the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) to intensify inspections of water supply pipelines. Measures include checking lines near sewer pipes, enhancing water quality monitoring, auditing vulnerable infrastructure, and prioritizing repairs. The DJB is also tasked with prompt response to public complaints and deploying dedicated teams for vigilance, aiming to prevent similar contamination incidents in the capital.
