
Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, 74, has been admitted to AIIMS, New Delhi, after experiencing two episodes of unconsciousness on January 10. Doctors advised hospitalisation for further tests, including an MRI, after he attended a check-up. Dhankhar had previously resigned from his vice-presidential post in July 2025, citing health reasons, and has made limited public appearances since. He has reportedly had similar health incidents in the past, including a previous hospitalisation for a heart-related ailment.
