
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will implement face authentication for all candidates appearing in its recruitment examinations to enhance integrity and security. This follows a successful pilot program using AI-enabled facial recognition technology, which reduced verification time to an average of 8-10 seconds per candidate. The new system aims to streamline the entry process and prevent cheating, fraud, and impersonation across the numerous examinations conducted by the UPSC.
