Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray stated that his alliance with cousin Raj Thackeray, chief of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, is permanent. The two leaders, who have united for the upcoming civic elections, have put aside past questions about their separation and are now committed to staying together after much deliberation. This political coming together marks their first alliance in nearly two decades.
