US Ambassador-designate to India, Sergio Gor, announced that India will be invited to join PaxSilica, a US-led strategic initiative focused on securing semiconductor and AI supply chains. Gor stated the initiative aims to build a secure, innovation-driven silicon supply chain from critical minerals to advanced manufacturing. He also indicated ongoing trade talks between the US and India, with the next round scheduled for the following day. Several nations, including Japan, South Korea, the UK, and Israel, are already part of PaxSilica.
