Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal criticized a "troubling tendency" to attribute these incidents to extraneous reasons, stating it emboldens perpetrators and increases fear among minorities. Reports indicate numerous incidents of violence, including killings and property occupation, affecting Hindu communities. UK MP Priti Patel also raised alarm, urging the UK government to use its influence to promote stability and minority protections in Bangladesh.
