The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) staged a protest in Mohali against AAP leader Atishi and the party's leadership. SAD leaders alleged that incidents of religious sacrilege have increased since the AAP came to power in Punjab and accused AAP of being involved and defending accused individuals. They also claimed Atishi deliberately targeted the Sikh community with objectionable language. The SAD warned of a larger agitation if accountability is not fixed, demanding an apology.
