A recent Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) report revealed that 12 out of 37 sewage treatment plants (STPs) in Delhi failed to meet prescribed standards in November. These failures, particularly concerning faecal coliform levels, represent an increase from previous months. Some STPs exceeded limits by significant margins, with others failing multiple parameters. Sample collection was also impossible at one facility due to lack of flow. The findings come as the Yamuna River clean-up remains a focus.
