Republican Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy's family has expressed alarm after their former bodyguard, Justin Salsburey, and his wife were charged with federal drug trafficking. The couple allegedly received 261 parcels containing counterfeit pills. Salsburey was employed by a private security firm hired by the Ramaswamys, which removed him from the family's detail upon learning of the charges. Campaign spokespersons stated Salsburey passed multiple background checks and drug screenings prior to his employment.
