Haryana's Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) is implementing a new policy offering registered gaushalas a concessional electricity tariff of ₹2 per unit, effective January. The state government will subsidize the remaining cost for metered, actual consumption related to gaushala activities. This initiative, replacing a 2021 policy, aims to support gaushalas and streamline their power connections, allowing separate connections for multiple locations under a single registration. The tariff excludes additional taxes and surcharges.
