Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated that the National Education Policy (NEP) will be instrumental in freeing India's new generation from the 'Macaulay mentality,' aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call. Pradhan emphasized that the NEP, now in its sixth year, promotes education in the mother tongue, competency-based studies, and skill development to prepare youth as job creators.
