Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has praised the new Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Employment and Livelihood Mission (Rural) Act, 2025, calling it a historic step for rural transformation and development. He stated the Act, which aims to strengthen rural infrastructure and guarantee employment, will significantly benefit Uttar Pradesh. Adityanath also criticized the Congress and INDIA alliance for questioning the legislation, accusing them of defending corruption instead of supporting national interest and rural welfare.
