A Chandigarh District Court has framed charges against 10 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders in a three-year-old case. The charges relate to alleged scuffles with police and violation of District Magistrate's orders during a protest outside the Punjab BJP office in February 2023. The protest concerned allegations of government favoritism towards industrialist Gautam Adani's companies. Hearings are set to begin on January 17, with four other accused declared proclaimed offenders for failing to appear.
