BJP Punjab working president Ashwani Sharma accused the Congress and AAP of running a smear campaign against the new VB-G RAM G Act, claiming it replaces MGNREGA and aims to develop villages and create jobs. Sharma stated that opposition parties are spreading misinformation out of fear of growing public support for the BJP ahead of elections. He asserted that the new scheme is in the interest of the poor and will strengthen infrastructure and youth employment opportunities.
