The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has established a Monsoon Management Cell (MMC) to centralize planning, execution, and coordination of flood control efforts. Led by the MCG commissioner, the cell includes additional commissioners, engineers, and consultants. The MMC will develop a comprehensive preparedness plan, analyze past monsoon data to identify improvements, and oversee tasks like drain cleaning and machinery deployment to mitigate urban flooding.
