Karnataka Minister M B Patil announced plans to develop a 65-acre tree park at Baiyappanahalli, Bengaluru, on the former NGEF site. The project, estimated at Rs 37.75 crore, will be completed in phases, with the first phase opening in March. The park will preserve existing trees, and existing structures will be refurbished for convention centers and a startup incubation hub. A 5,000-7,000 vehicle capacity parking facility is also planned.
