The Belagavi zilla panchayat has initiated a large-scale E-Swathu property survey across its 506 gram panchayats, utilizing Rover System and Quantum GIS technology for accurate mapping and taxation assessment. CEO Rahul Shindhe inspected villages, emphasizing the need for precise property identification and taxation to clarify rights and prevent future disputes. Devarasheegihalli has been designated a model village for this initiative, with a 15-day target to identify its station area and survey all properties within it.
