Jharkhand is developing a 10-year vision plan to address human-animal conflicts, particularly involving elephants, and to restore forests. The plan, expected by March 31, aims to balance conservation with community well-being, including forest regeneration, creating livelihoods, digitizing boundaries, and rehabilitating mined areas. This initiative comes amid rising human-animal conflict fatalities, with 25 people killed by elephants this year, including 20 in West Singhbhum.
