Gurugram officials proposed Sector 56 as a multimodal transit hub under a revised plan for the Gurugram-Faridabad RRTS corridor. The hub would integrate the proposed RRTS line with existing and planned metro networks, including the Rapid Metro and a proposed Panchgaon line. Discussions also included planning an RRTS station at Gwal Pahari and optimizing land use, potentially through underground metro construction. A proposal was also made to originate the RRTS line from Rajiv Chowk to enhance city coverage.
