The North Eastern Council (NEC) allocated Rs 4.89 crore to Mizoram in December 2025 for infrastructure, livelihood, and cultural projects. This funding is part of a larger Rs 76.78 crore disbursed to Northeastern states and regional agencies. Mizoram's funds will support a fish farmer training center, a cultural heritage center, and IT initiatives for resource monitoring and revenue enhancement. The NEC aims to boost development across the region through these investments.
