
Malaysian politician Jagdeep Singh Deo, of Punjabi heritage and a former Deputy Chief Minister of Penang, visited Darbar Sahib in Tarn Taran. Deo, a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), paid his respects, listened to kirtan, and was honored by the temple authorities. He comes from a prominent political family in Malaysia, with his father and brothers also serving as Members of Parliament.
