A convoy of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislator Suvendu Adhikari was allegedly attacked by Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers in West Midnapore, West Bengal. Adhikari, who was returning from a rally, was unharmed. The BJP claims the attack is politically motivated, citing Adhikari's past electoral victory over Mamata Banerjee. The TMC alleges Adhikari's security personnel initiated the violence against local residents and BJP workers after 'Joy Bangla' slogans were raised.
