Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has dismissed five government employees for alleged links to terror outfits, including Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen. The terminated individuals held positions such as teacher, lab technician, assistant lineman, forest field worker, and health department driver. This action, taken under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution, allows dismissal without a formal inquiry in the interest of state security. These dismissals are part of an ongoing campaign to remove terror associates from government machinery, with over 85 employees terminated since 2020.
