
Telangana Police reported the arrest of Barsa Deva, a high-ranking commander in the Maoist People's Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA), along with 15 armed Naxalites. The operation, based on intelligence, occurred in forest areas bordering Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra. Deva, a key figure in the banned CPI (Maoist) and associated with the organization's military wing, was apprehended with a significant weapons cache. Authorities view this as a substantial setback for the PLGA.
