The Shivamogga District Backward Classes Federation has urged the Karnataka government to expedite the completion of the Devaraj Urs Bhavan, a project initiated in 2017. The federation highlighted that initial funds were insufficient, and subsequent allocations were used for administrative offices rather than construction. While thanking the Chief Minister for releasing additional funds, the federation stressed the need for judicious utilization to ensure the building is ready for public use soon.
