Telangana Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy stated in the Assembly that the previous BRS government neglected the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme (PRLIS) and other Krishna Basin projects, causing injustice to the state. He assured that the Congress government will complete PRLIS and pending projects like Koilsagar, Bhima, and Dindi within three years, aiming for 90 tmc ft water utilization. Reddy criticized the BRS government's spending and project focus, highlighting a change in PRLIS source as a significant error.
