The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has initiated a special drive to identify and remove unauthorized advertisement structures like hoardings and banners across the city. This action follows the delimitation and merger of municipalities, with concerns raised about public safety and regulatory violations. GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan stated that illegal structures are being dismantled, and a dedicated team will be formed for sustained enforcement. Strict action, including penalties, will be taken against violators.
