AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi to discuss the political situation in Tamil Nadu. Palaniswami stated that alliance and seat-sharing talks were not on the agenda, emphasizing his party's efforts to strengthen the NDA. He reiterated that expelled leaders V.K. Sasikala and O. Panneerselvam have no place in the AIADMK, with Shah assuring non-interference in internal party matters. Palaniswami also noted the PMK's recent alliance with the NDA and expressed optimism about more parties joining.
