AIIMS Bhopal is set to significantly expand its medical infrastructure in 2026, focusing on advanced diagnostic and critical care services. The hospital will introduce Gamma Knife technology for non-surgical treatment of brain tumors and PET scans for faster cancer diagnosis. Additionally, organ transplant services will be strengthened with a dedicated operation theatre, and robotic surgery services will be expanded, including a training center. A new ICU building is also planned to accommodate more critical patients.
