The 'Aseervachanam' scheme, a 2009 collaboration between India Post and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), allows devotees to send money and receive a sacred gift set, including blessed rice, kumkum, and a deity photo, hand-delivered by postmen. In 2025, TTD received ₹3.1 crore from 1.26 lakh devotees through this traditional method, indicating its enduring sentimental value.
