Twenty-seven Indian nationals, primarily from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, have been safely repatriated to India after being trafficked to Myanmar. They were lured with fake overseas job offers and subsequently subjected to coercion, physical abuse, and forced participation in cyber scam operations. The rescue was facilitated through diplomatic intervention by the Ministry of External Affairs, following an appeal from Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu.
