Tatwadarsha Hospital in Hubballi has performed over 100 kidney transplants since December 2017, averaging 12-15 surgeries annually. Approximately 75% of these were from living related donors, with the remainder from brain-dead donors. The hospital has also conducted ABO incompatible, pediatric, and swap transplants, with 86 recipients now living healthy lives. The hospital promotes organ donation through awareness drives and encourages citizens to pledge organs via the Jeeva Sarathi portal.
