The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has cleared 1,458 metric tonnes of solid waste and 547 MT of construction debris during a six-day special sanitation drive. The initiative, which began with cleaning foot overbridges, expanded to include flyovers, roadsides, lakes, and parks across all 300 wards. Commissioner R.V. Karnan has directed officials to intensify efforts and promote public awareness for improved cleanliness.
