Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Mumbai has welcomed three new Asiatic lion cubs, born on January 11 to lions Manas and Bharati. This marks a significant conservation achievement, as it's the second time pure-bred Asiatic lions have been born at the park. The cubs, part of an exchange program with Junagadh's Sakkarbaug Zoo, will remain in enclosures until mature enough for the lion safari. The park now houses eight pure Asiatic lions, a milestone for its conservation efforts.
