Sabarimala is fully prepared for the Makaravilakku festival, with extensive arrangements made for the expected surge of pilgrims. Approximately 2,000 police personnel are deployed, and entry to Sannidhanam is restricted to 30,000 via virtual queue and 5,000 via spot booking. The Thiruvabharanam procession carrying sacred jewels will arrive on Makaravilakku day. Authorities have advised pilgrims to view the Makara Jyothi from designated spots and avoid unsafe activities. Additional safety measures include temporary bridges, barricades, and enhanced medical and fire services.
