
A 15-day tailoring training program for unemployed tribal women from Maoist-affected areas concluded in Maredumilli, Andhra Pradesh. Organized by the district police as part of the SARAL initiative and supported by APSSDC, the program aimed to provide self-employment opportunities. This initiative follows similar training for 106 women from surrendered Maoist families. The Superintendent of Police distributed sewing machines to trainees, encouraging them to use the skills for economic and social empowerment.
