A three-year-old female leopard was safely rescued from an open well near Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on Saturday afternoon. The Ralamandal Regional Rescue Team extracted the uninjured animal, which has been shifted to the zoo for medical examination and observation. Officials noted that increased wildlife rescues in the region over the past five years are attributed to improved public awareness, faster reporting, and greater trust in the Forest Department's conflict management system.
